- Built on Next.js 14 with App Router and MySQL for products, orders, and customer accounts.
- Integrated Zelle payment flow with clear instructions and manual confirmation for the store owner.
- Cloudinary-powered media pipeline for fast, high-quality product imagery.
Challenge
Napta USA needed to graduate from a fragmented, manual operation to a premium online experience. The team wanted a storefront that reflected the quality of its cold-pressed sesame oils, while handling catalogue management, user accounts, order records, and SEO-friendly content. Payments had to run through Zelle to match the brand’s existing finance workflow.
Approach
We planned and delivered the entire architecture:
- Frontend: Next.js 14 App Router with server components for SEO-heavy sections and client components for cart, filters, and account interactions.
- Backend: MySQL schema for products, categories, orders, and users — designed for growth and clear relationships.
- Payments: Zelle instructions at checkout with automated order creation and manual confirmation by the store owner.
- Media: Cloudinary CDN for all product photography, ensuring crisp imagery with rapid load times.
- Hosting: Hostinger deployment with SSL, env management, and Git/GitHub version control.
Results
- Fully operational e-commerce platform serving 2,000+ customers across 10 states.
- Persistent cart, user accounts, and admin-ready product management so the brand can scale.
- Production-grade codebase primed for future marketing campaigns and wholesale outreach.
